That `gift` could be a statement that the US will have a Covid-19 vaccine before election day or a new economic stimulus package with a value of up to 1,800 billion USD, something Trump hopes for his allies in the administration.

Once optimistic that he could use presidential power to achieve the set goals on time, but now Trump seems to realize that reality is not what he wanted.

Angry with his officials for not being able to accomplish their goals, Trump is rethinking his cabinet for a second term if he is re-elected, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Even the most loyal officials, such as Attorney General William Barr, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo or Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, cannot escape his wrath.

`I don’t comment,` he said.

A day later, it was the turn of Secretary Mnuchin, who is leading negotiations in Congress on a new stimulus package to support the economy before the pandemic, to become the target of Trump’s `anger`.

`He couldn’t bring back what he expected,` Trump mentioned Mnuchin, referring to the fact that the US Treasury Secretary has not been able to reach an agreement on an economic stimulus package with Congress.

On another occasion, Trump reprimanded aides for not unanimously supporting important announcements in the final stages of the campaign that could have a strong impact on key constituencies such as large citizens groups.

Last week, Secretary of State Pompeo was also criticized by President Trump when he delayed releasing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails stored at the Department.

`They have them at the State Department, but Mike Pompeo can’t release them, which is really sad. I’m not happy with him for this. He can’t release them. I don’t understand what the reason is.`

To reassure the President, Secretary of State Pompeo said he was trying to work quickly to release the emails before election day.

Trump’s frustration is also aimed at government health agencies for passing regulations tightening the vaccine approval process, making it almost impossible for a Covid-19 vaccine to be licensed for emergency use before March 3.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clarified in its latest guidance last week that it needs to have comprehensive safety data on vaccine candidates before granting emergency authorization.

Just a few hours later, Trump immediately showed anger.

Regarding the new economic stimulus package, after Trump said on the morning of October 15 that he was willing to accept a higher level of support than the current government’s $1,800 billion proposal, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell

`It’s not something I would discuss,` he told reporters in Kentucky.
