After Gabriel in the 1-2 loss to Man City on January 1, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey in the League Cup semi-finals against Liverpool on January 14 and 21, Martinelli is the next Arsenal player to `take an early shower`.

In the 69th minute, the striker lost the ball close to the sideline and committed a foul of pushing Daniel Podence when trying to prevent the Wolves player from throwing the ball into play.

From a comfortable position with a 1-0 lead from midfielder Gabriel’s close-range kick in the 25th minute, Arsenal became tense because there were only 10 people left.

Midfielder Ben White cleared the ball on the goal line after Raul Jimenez’s shot, and goalkeeper Ramsdale had to show his talent twice – pushing Sais’s cannon shot over the bar, then neutralizing a dangerous cross from Semedo.

Post-match statistics show that Wolves deserved a point in this match, as they held the ball 59% and took more shots, with 15 shots, including four towards the goal.

Arsenal shot less, with 12 shots of which only 2 were directed at goal, but scored one goal.
